This morning I continued on with lessons in Learning 2.0. I already have an account with bloglines so I updated my feeds with two library feeds, Library Link of the Day and Librarian Journal News.
I read my feeds through bloglines and like the features of searching by post or by feed. Each feed has a preview page so you can shop around and visit many of the topics feeds and find the one you like best. Bloglines has a subscribe feature so you don't have to copy and paste URLs to subscribe.
Some of the unusual feeds I have found include Luxist feed where you get a view of how the upper 10 percent lives. This feed has virtual real estate tours of huge mansions, lake properties etc, as well as the latest "must-haves" of the rich and famous--everything from wrinkle remover cream that costs $432 per jar to purses that sell for $2600 (that are ugly as sin!)
Another feed I like is a New Urban Legend site that posts the newest urban legends and tells you whether they are true or not.
